Auckland Council
The study provides robust, evidence-based insights into the use of the reserve. Insights will guide future planning, ensuring upgrades and developments reflect actual community needs. Hutt City Council
Xyst assessed Avalon Park’s playground surfacing, completing HIC testing and identifying safety concerns. Staff provided testing certificates and recommendations to replace non-compliant surfaces, ensuring ongoing compliance and safety.

Our independent playground safety inspections were carried out in accordance with NZS 5828:2015, and provide clear, unbiased reporting, helping Hutt City Council’s asset managers make informed decisions about the safety of their public playground equipment and surfacing.

Xyst assisted Gisborne District Council to procure contractors to best manage Tairāwhiti regional open space and transfer stations to the highest quality and for the best value.
Waimakariri District Council
The management structure for the operation of the stadium was reviewed including the commercial lease agreements to put in place a more sustainable operating model for Council and the Trust.
Ice Sports Dunedin
Ice Sports Dunedin received analysis on the options for the future provision of Ice sports and public skating in Dunedin.
Gisborne District Council
Xyst assisted Gisborne District Council to establish a panel of preferred suppliers to provide arboriculture services across the region. This gives Council greater capability, capacity and flexibility to undertake works, and opens up opportunities for suppliers.
Broken Hill City Council
Broken Hill City Council received clear recommendations for operational improvements and the best approach to managing their facility going forward. This included a recommended approach to procurement for the appointment of the next management contract.
