The Kaiapoi Community Hub is a complex programme of works located in the red zone area within Waimakariri as a result of the 2011 Canterbury earthquakes.
The project aims to provide a home for numerous community organisations. We assisted with budget tracking, timeline management, land negotiations and stakeholder engagement for the first stage of the Hub, including concept design, detailed design, procurement and construction. This included establishing services, car parking and croquet lawns, as well as beginning the project management of wider designs such as wastewater and electrical services.
We worked in close partnership with Waimakariri District Council to move forward confidently with the project and deliver excellent outcomes for the stakeholders and wider Kaiapoi Community.
