Xyst took on the task of designing and developing the Mauka Atua Reserve, transforming it into a functional public space. Collaborating closely with the Lake Tekapo Community Board, Xyst identified and incorporated key features into a landscape plan for the reserve. After approval, Xyst project managed the site development, overseeing the project to completion.
In the course of the project, Xyst efficiently managed the procurement of contractors for all site works and arranged the supply of essential elements such as plants and park furnishings, including a shelter, barbecue, seating, drinking fountain, and irrigation. Additionally, the team submitted the required consents for site development and monitored contractor performance ensuring a streamlined process for the Mackenzie District Council.
