I am a highly experienced open space and local government professional, with more than 15 years’ experience in open space planning, including reserve management, master and concept planning, capital work programme development, project planning and management and community engagement.

My expertise
Most recently, my parks, recreation and community engagement roles positioned me as project lead for omnibus reserve management planning support for Auckland Council (including over 1,000 parks), community needs assessment for Eke Panuku and open space and community facility planning support for Suburban Railway Loop project in Melbourne. I have good working knowledge of the Reserves Act which enables me to provide a valuable balance between the needs of the community and the legislative requirements.
I have also been involved in providing advice and resources on ecological restoration, pest control and volunteer programmes along with development of annual work programmes for parks renewals and assessment of potential parks acquisitions.
